THEREKYOTO STATION (2016)
< THERE >는 공간기록 프로젝트다. 공간이 가지는 물리적 성질보다 관념적 의미에 주목했다. 사람들의 의식, 기억, 흔적 등이 축적되어 특정한 의미를 형성하고 그 공간만의 역사를 만들어 낸다.
이 작업은 교토역을 촬영한 여러장의 사진들을 중첩 후, 트레싱지에 인쇄하여 잉크가 자연스레 번지는 효과와 그 위에 연필, 파스텔 등으로 한 번 더 레이어를 덧대어 한 장의 이미지를 완성했다.
< THERE > is a spatial recording project. It focused on the ideological meaning of space rather than its physical properties. People's consciousness, memories, and traces are accumulated to form a specific meaning and create a history unique to that space.
